Our hummus is cold-crafted. What does that mean? We combine fresh, raw ingredients using a cold process and utilize high pressure processing (HPP) to extend shelf life to over 100 days. HPP eliminates listeria, yeast, and mold. Heat destroys fresh flavors. HPP is a cold process that provides the food safety and shelf-life benefits of traditional thermal pasteurization without destroying the flavor and nutrients of our fresh ingredients. We use cold-pressed and raw because it tastes better. Nothing artificial. No potassium sorbate. No citric acid. No concentrates or flavors. It’s simple to us, use only the best real ingredients and don’t make any substitutions. This hummus tastes fresh.
